Japón: colapso de la colonia is an infographic developed as a personal project for a specialized workshop. It was inspired by several articles about how Japanese population is about to start decreasing after some years of zero growth.
The main graphic is based on Mt. Fuji, mimicking a single-line graph that shows the population through the years. The peak of the mountain corresponds to the zero-growth situation Japan is currently suffering.
Some secondary graphs were included, like age distribution, life expectancy or working population by activity sector, as well as some kanjis and icons with additional information such as causes of death or the origins of the concept of colony collapse disorder.
