E C O T E R M   Rebrand  Proposal

Ecoterm is a Romanian construction company that provides design, planning and assembly solutions for HVAC, sanitary, electric and automation installations all while striving to be environmentally conscious.

The company started its activity in 2002 and although they had no actual brand identity until 2015, they did use a generic maple leaf as a placeholder logo. The leaf became a symbol that the management grew attached to and they felt that, in time, it became synonymous with their business practices and market presence.

The prime intention behind the re-brand process was the merging of three important concepts: the representation of a maple leaf, which had to be kept and adapted, the eco-friendliness, which was at the roots of their business practices, and the cutting-edge precision that is demanded when working in such a rigorous construction field. Green. Precise. Uncluttered.

Thus, the geometric representation of an organic shape was the choice in communicating green and high-quality engineering, while keeping the motifs light and minimalist, with subtle natural imagery complementing the striking logo.

The color palette was chosen to reflect the eco-friendly approach and bolster the mark, with a neutral combination of white and dark gray supporting the green for a well ventilated, unintrusive look.

Brand proposal developed some time ago and ultimately unused as schedules between the two sides involved did not match.
