Flyer design for a telecommunication company

We had the chance to design a flyer for a telecommunication company and are glad to present our thoughts and process in this design.

Our client wanted a slick and elegant design which is young and fresh. So obviously our idea was to break out of the layout and keep it quite simple with not very much going on. They wanted to place three offerings on a DIN A3 format. Therefore we wanted to put the mobile phone offerings into the particular models and the contract offer into a small box so those offerings are popping out a little bit.

Step 1:
At first you have to read and understand the briefing of your client. In my case my client wanted a slick, elegant and not necessarily typical mobile phone flyer for his grand opening of a mobile phone shop. The colors should match their logo and it shouldn't be too colorful.

I created a sketch based on what I know, which you can see below.

Step 2:
I digitalized the concept and colored it. That's how I'm setting up the information hierarchy. Decided to stick with a border because it gives it a more classy look. The red tone is the same red as their logo. The white transparent box at the top is there to add a little bit more contrast to the logo.

Step 3:
Last step was to getting it printed. The outcome is pretty satisfying, which lead to a happy customer!
