Egg Chair by Arne Jacobsen Poster
For my graphic design studio, I was tasked with creating a poster for the famous Egg Chair by the Danish designer Arne Jacobsen. No digital tools were used to create this; all visual components had to be cut and made by hand from found text.
The Egg Chair was one of Arne Jacobsen's most iconic designs, and while constructing this poster, I chose to use a blue to reflect the original model that was created. The chair has a careful balance and symmetry that allows it to look like an 'egg' from any angle it is swiveled at, and I emphasized this by placing an egg in the chair body.
