The Purity is a table lamp with one light. It's made in a modern style using contemporary materials: brass, artificial stone and glass. The height of the lamp 450 mm / 17.7 inch and maximum width 180 mm / 7.1 inch. It is simple, but autonomous performing well without other decorative items.
The basic idea was to translate the sense of weightlessness and purity. Glass is about levity, it symbolizes easiness. Stone is about something heavy and strong. Together they are a contradiction. Two glass surfaces gave incredible beauty to stone. The light rays are refracted and change the trajectory of motion, creating the play of light and shadow.
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy — the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” ― Brené Brown
"The pleasure
is to see and feel
the beauty in simplicity."
