What is the interaction between plastic packaging and its contents? What types of plastic materials come into direct contact with food? What does the labels on plastic packaging stand for? Analyzing scientific information, goal of this project is to stimulate communication between scientists, the public and the media. Purchasing food in unsuitable plastic packaging should be avoided by the consumers.
Optical correction of universal recycling symbol and redesign of standard numbers is necessary for improving readability on small sizes. Free download of vector plastic recycling symbols is available here.
