Accidental Poster

This workshop was hosted by Adobe Korea and conducted according to the guidance of designer Goo-Ryong Kang. It is a workshop that takes 8 hours to complete and prints up to a given time (4 hours).
It was done on the topic of 'accidental poster', and it was done by composing a new image by combining or modifying images prepared in advance, and then making a poster of A1 size by recombining the images according to the given word. We used Adobe Capture to create and use vector images, patterns, brushes, and so on.
We created a poster by creating a pattern using symmetry, which is a mathematical system, and combining it with a type called 'SYSTEM', among others, in which new images were created by combining different images. I think that existing fonts are general and not enough to express a given word, so I have lettered with reference to modular fonts.
이 워크숍은 어도비 코리아에서 주최하고 디자이너 강구룡님의 지도에 따라 진행되었다. 총 8시간 동안 진행되며 한 장의 포스터를 구성하는데 주어진 시간(4시간) 내에 인쇄까지 마치는 워크숍이다.
'우발적인 포스터'라는 주제로 진행이 되었고, 각자 사전에 준비한 이미지들을 결합하거나 변형을 시켜 새로운 이미지를 만든 뒤 주어지는 단어에 맞게 이미지를 재조합 하여 A1사이즈의 포스터 한 장을 만드는 방식으로 이루어졌다. 어도비 캡쳐 기능을 사용하여 벡터이미지, 패턴, 브러쉬 등을 만들어 사용하기도 하고 이것을 Creative Cloud에 어셋을 저장하여 다같이 이미지를 공유하였다.
다른 사람들이 여러 이미지를 결합해 새로운 이미지를 만든 것들 중에서 유기적인 이미지들을 수학적인 시스템인 대칭을 이용하여 패턴을 만들고 이것을 'SYSTEM'이라는 타입과 결합시켜 포스터를 만들었다. 기존에 있는 서체가 일반적이고 주어진 단어를 표현하기에 부족하다고 생각하여 모듈적인 폰트들을 참고하여 레터링하였다.
