Bind, brand identity of a paper clips producer.

The concept was to create the brand identity of a paper clips company.
Paper clip has the aim to keep together different things., so our brand wants to embody this essential value - unity - both in visual identity and brand communication.
The paper clip binds papers but also people: during the German occupation of Norway, in the II World War, people could not exhibit symbols, so Norwegians wore paper clips in their lapels as a symbol of resistance, in honor of the paper clips inventor Johan Vaaler. So Bind identity comes from the Norwegian imagery: in this language Binders means connection.
The logo represents a paper with a paper clip in the left side and he colors come from the mood of Norway and metal.
The visual communication of Bind is based on a family of pictograms. They are created into a grid with only two simple signs, a straight segment and an arc of a circle assembled in a unique open line, as the paper clip.
In each application Bind transimits the unity value using transparency and overlap.
