Started with a sketch, ballpoint nothing special

Then I copied the image to Illustrator and vectored the outline, I used strokes to draw the outline and just expanded to finish

These are the final layouts. I made one in Black BG, and on in White BG

The Betta Fish are very colorful and vibrant this is why I wanted to make a layout where it showed a very playful use of color and high contrast. I used paint strokes to represent the vibrant color, since for me that invokes so much emotion especially when viewing a painting.
