Sadi: Sadu Inspired Design Exhibition
Desert & Urban
This design is inspired by both the desert landscape, where traditional weaving began in Kuwait, and the modern creativity of urban geometric shapes and patterns. The colors reflect the sand in the region, the geographical location of Kuwait and reminds viewers of the famous red of the Sadu. The overall simplicity of the design symbolizes two worlds, the desert and the urban and reviving the traditional use in an urban modern setting.
