I began by making a series of dado cuts on the table saw. Each pattern above is created with identical sticks, only rearranged.
I used the table saw to create extended finger joints that I then made again, but differently, on a larger scale.
After creating flat pieces, I was curious what would happen if I combined the coopering technique and a curved structure. As a result, I cut each "finger" and steam bent them individually.
