(A Little More Than) 36 Days of Type
I participated in the 36 Days of Type project this year, with an aim to challenge myself to work within certain visual constraints and create strong letterforms.
As the project progressed, I saw not just myself (design voice included), but also my style grow into something fresh, youthful and funky. I decided to take this perspective further; beyond the length of the global challenge, and create a cohesive set of numbers and letters.
Each character was designed to exhibit some sort of depth or illusion. Even though they are flat and vector-based, they all give a sense of dimensional play.
