These are a series of density studies for a new housing typology. The investigations explore the courtyard form in a manner that allows the residents to enjoy the spaces outside of their dwellings. Locating gardens on the roofs of the dwellings creates an efficient use of space and allows the residents to look out over the landscape of the Cairngorms.
