These are some of the sketches and style exploration I did for this character. The concept for the challenge was Pilots, and I wanted to make something about a ladybug due to a magnificent video I saw of the insect taking flight in slow motion. I wanted to make a reference of Amelia Earhart at fist, but ended up cross-gendering the character, since I fell making my ladybug a female character was to cliché.
