Founded in 1997, Chery International is a Chinese automaker based in Wuhu, Anhui Province, China. Its principal products are passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and minivans in various segments and has global presence in over 80 countries. It is considered one of China’s fastest-growing automaker, and it tops list of Chinese Manufacturers in terms of sales and production.

Chery owns the largest factories in China for passengers vehicle and manufacturing bases, which turn out 900,000 vehicles annually. It vehicles sales peaked in September 2015, at 5 million units.
