Task
To create the corporate identity for the new Saint Petersburg’s tattoo studio «Peplum». The studio was founded by a talented tattoo artist Julia Mikhaylova, a specialist in engraving-style tattoos, made mostly in black and white.
About the project
We have chosen antiquity as the basic stylistic direction. That’s why we decided to combine the well known silhouette of Ancient Greek columns with the induction tattoo machine. That is how two tattoo machines form the shape of the Ancient Greek temple. The sign itself is quite monumental, so it's a kind of an emblem, similar to those placed on the Greek Warriors shields.
