MULTI-COMFORT HOUSE
Isover student competition '16, national stage
This multi comfort housing project is located in Brest, Belarus. The project is special for it's harsh climate on one hand and the big scale of development on the other. The proposed neighborhood is a model block that should be able to repeat itself on a large suburban area without appearing generic. The main idea of our proposition was to make blocks as dynamic as possible while the housing is designed modular. The transportation access is limited to small insulas with parking spaces near the city avenue. The rest of the public space is dedicated to gardening, green areas and recreational program. All the buildings are designed modular, but can be assembled in different shapes, heights and lengths. The ground floor of all the buildings is extroverted and can be turned into commercial use.
'The buildings are designed in a zero-energy standard. The energy consumption is designed and checked in Isover Multi-comfort Designer!'
