Strategy: The story of Norwegian Wood is a coming of age tale about a boy and the two girls he loves in his life. The uncertainty and ennui they feel in their life is depicted through their painted-on blindfolds as they wander through a murky woods. The style of this book cover was influenced by the surrealism, textures, and simplicity of Japanese graphic design.
