Considering that one finds peace ofmind in the bathroom, the very place to get isolated from all intruders, Dropwas designed with the criteria that the soothing effect of water is integratedinto design not only visually but also haptically.
Inside, the sink has the form of awhirlpool while the outer surface is curved softly to give a slight feeling ofthe movements of the water's surface when a drop falls on it. Altough theheight of the wave is only 5mm, it can look much deeper or shallower dependingon where the light comes from. Made with Corian, Drop uses the thermoformingtechnology.
Demet Bilici has been introduced as oneof the “10 most wanted designers” with Drop by the highly influencial designmagazine Wallpaper, in 2005.
