CONCEPT
Created in 1989 by Carlo Di Antonio, Dour Festival is today one of the biggest music events in Belgium. For the past two decades, the festival has grown steadily, reaching to a point of 230,000 attendees for the 2015 edition. Over this time, Dour has cultivated the perfect mix of music, experience and adventure. For the 2019 edition, in which Dour Festival will celebrate its 30 years of existence, the festival organizers envision a total redesign of their brand and visual communication.
I started by using spray paint and poster board to create patterns, which I then used as the basis for the identity.
