Starting with Line Exploration, the journey to learn the craft of Madhubani Painting begins.
A painting practice where basic elements of geometry like; circle, dash, line, cross hatch, dot, sign of addition and subtraction are used to create the environment. In the traditional practices no space is left empty in the background of the painting. Elements from nature like birds, animals, trees, plants and geometric shapes fill the space. Each element captures a meaning in accordance with the culture of Mithila.
