Cosmic Machinaria is a set of performance visuals made for Bassnectar's 2016 festival tour. There are a total of 16 loops on this set, which shows a massive galactic engine capable of constructing stars, planets and other heavenly bodies in the cosmos.
Here are some sketches while developing the look and feel of the cosmic machine.
It is inspired by animal totems, which are modified to make mega-pistons that generate enough power to bring planets and small stars to life.
