DRAGON FRUIT VODKA
DEN is a local distillery based in Northern Sweden making small batches of liquor. The vodka is flavoured with dragon fruit, a former quite unnoticed fruit whose popularity has increased. DEN takes the dragon fruit out of the trendy smoothie bowls and applies the sweet taste right into this feisty beverage.
The basic idea is to challenge the glass bottle as the protagonist in the liquor shelf. Here, the glass bottle takes a step back in favor of the carton board which takes on the leading role. The carton board takes the shape of a claw, literally inclosing the glass bottle in a firm grip.
