For the Lindsay Lohan cover & spread I was inspired by the photoshoot of Lindsay by John Rankin where she's wearing a lot of black items with leather and studs. I ended up being imitating a piece of leather with studs for the logo and for the title of the interview.
Also, I made some hand lettering for 'Lindsay Lohan' since I thought it was interesting to give a youth and a rebel vibe. — This photoshoot was for ELLE UK circa 2009.
The Christina Aguilera cover is supposed to be for a summer issue. I thought about colors, light and fun playing with the logo. The truth is that I started experimenting with the logo since I didn't want it to be too solid and I liked the final result. It could be a piece of glass or even a lollipop with a V form. — Photos are by Alix Malka for Christina's Bionic album art.
