Book design
The book published by the Lithuanian culture institute surveys the gastronomical connections between Lithuania and Germany through a historical study and old recipes. What we had to do was to present all of it in a modern and delicious way.
When creating the visual style of the book we separated ourselves from its historical content. Instead, we chose a minimalistic layout, illustrated the recipes with photographs, selected typography that was clean and easy to read and contrasted it all with an intricate map that we used on the cover.
