From 2012 Ethnographic study, people take notes when travel shopping to keep track of what they looked at to repeat searches, to make notes of things that stand out, to compare options and for communication. SP has to date only realized the need to keep track of what was viewed so users do not have to repeat searches. Now with recent studies, curation and notes bring a new dimension to SP which allows users to digitally take notes and keep track.
Working with prototypes can be cumbersome as you have to work hand in hand with the prototyper. Creating a study plan and tasks for the study requires comps at the most to see how the flow of prototype will work. The challenge was being in sync and making sure what the participants will see and click work on the prototype and everything is aligned with the scenarios and tasks.
