This is an A1 format poster design project that also works as a book of 837 postage stamps. The project is based on the Pioneer probes launched in the 1970s by the NASA with the goal of communicating with a hypothetical extraterrestrial intelligence. The stamps become puzzle pieces that once put together enable to access a rich visual data base. The viewer can learn about the solar system, the planet earth and its fauna and flora as well as the human race and all the fundamental concepts and knowledge that shape its existence. Printing was done almost entirely in black and white on a recycled off-white paper to give the project an analog feeling contrasting with its sci-fiesque and futuristic purpose.
