Manual Prático da Garota Mágica (Magical Girl Practical Handbook) is a web comic created in 2016, written, drawn and colored by me. Inspired by “mahou shoujo” anime and manga (such as Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura and Magic Knight Rayearth). The comic is a tribute to this genre, and a satire at the same time, as it jokes with many stereotypes.
Leia is a 13-year-old teenager who likes to wear men's clothes, loves to spend her time reading comics or playing MMORPG at night. But her life as a simple nerd was about to change. When the town was suddenly attacked by an army of monsters from nowhere, Blaze, a red talking dog (?), came from another dimension to tell Leia that she's the only one who can save the day... taking the form of a magical girl! Now, she will have to transform into a cute heroine, wearing make up, skirts, tiaras and high heels, to fight the forces of evil!
