Guerrilla \ Safe Driving

There's this wide belief in Romania that believing in various forms of divinity protects you from everything while driving. Take a stroll through Anytown, Romania, anyday and chances are you'll see cars decorated with small Orthodox icons on the inside, just like a Christmas tree is decorated with tinsel and globes.

This is why, in order to discourage smartphoning and driving, we teamed up with safe-driving NGO Siguranță Auto and created...
THE UNPROTECTOR SAINTS OF SMARTPHONE-DRIVING:
From left to right, they are:
St. Winkarius the Lead-Mouth, St. Trollophymia the All-Jinxful and St. Smilerius the Unhealer.
They have the miraculous powers of doing absolutely nothing to help you if you're using your smartphone while driving a car. Just like any other religious icon in fact.
These were actually printed on A7-type cardboards, just like your everyday pocket icons which are usually found hung by the car mirror. On the back they had detailed text about the perils of not driving safely. And they were handed out at busy crossroads in Bucharest, to cars stopping at traffic lights (just like religious icons are usually handed to drivers).

That's right, they were flyers. It was a brief for flyers. And considering these flyers reached about 6-7 mainstream national televisions on prime-time news and stirred a rather negative reaction from the Romanian Orthodox Church... our solution ended up divinely well.
