Dutch comedian Theo Maassen once said about The Netherlands: "We've become this little twisted country.. When you're not happy with your boobs, you'll get surgery the same week. But when you suffer from a heart attack, you're placed on a waiting list.." With this (sadly) true phrase, I made the following work.

The words on the signpost mean the following:

Hebzucht = Greed
Macht = Power
Egoisme = Selfishness
Geld = Money

Humaniteit = Humanity

The message of this work is pretty clear. Nowadays it's way easier to find those negative aspects, as many ways in life lead to them. Humanity however is getting harder to find, which is very sad but true, since that's the fundament of life, in my opinion.
