This project has won a 3rd Place in the competition “Furniture for a Motorcyclist”, organised by YAMAHA.
This hanger is a system of 3 tubes, which in the frontal view are a direct reference to YAMAHA company logo. Inspiration for the project was also a weave of three chrome tubes – the integral part of every motorcycle’s construction. Therefore the material used is metal tubes covered with dark chrome. The second version of the project would use carbon, a very popular material in motoring.
Minimalistic form of the hanger suits domestic interiors and motorcycle shops. It is a practical and functional way of storing motorcycle clothing during the season, when it is being frequently used. The easy method of folding allows the hanger to be transported or stored away when not in use.
