Description: This small animation is inspired from the movie Inception, which is one of my favourite directed by the genius Christopher Nolan. It was also inspired from a tutorial on CInema 4D dynamics at greyscalegorrila.com. I really wanted to try it and make my own version of it. So here is what I finally arrived at.

The modeling, lighting, dynamics and rendering was done in Cinema 4D. I imported the diffuse, alpha and depth passes to After Effects for compositing and colour correction. I also added a "lens breathing" effect by animating the focus of the depth of field plugin. I rendered the composited footage and imported it to Final Cut Pro where I added my all time favourite soundtrack "Time" composed by the genius Hans Zimmer. All the titling and sound was done in Final Cut Pro.
