The project here was to illustrate a beverage label, and I chose to do a local Williamsburg brewery that has very graphic labels rather than illustrative. The beer is a Citrus Wheat Ale (Pale Ale) with grapefruit and hints of orange peel. I wanted to convey the feeling of thirst and also incorporate warm colors by creating a fantasy waterfall scene. I created both a poster and label version by painting in Procreate and doing the finishing text and layout in Illustrator.
