設計理念｜DESCRIPTION
在傳播媒體發達的現代，我們對於身體的想像一再被社會化。我們並不難從各式各樣的媒體報導與社會輿論中，看見社會對女性的身材、容貌的物化與標準化。
我們與生俱來的身體是獨一無二的，我們與其共生，任歲月在我們的身體與臉上刻下痕跡，並伴隨時光老去，一切都是如此自然而然。而今卻無處不是戰場：隨著醫美、塑形的技術逐漸發達，人們利用各種方式控制皮膚、血肉甚至骨骼，試圖與之抗衡，好讓容貌與身材符合社會價值觀，審美觀也越趨單一化。
我們希望透過本片，向觀看者提出我們對於現今社會單一審美觀所抱持的疑問：「這樣一致的美，真的是美嗎？」並非針對單一體型或美感，而是社會大眾對於多元體型的壓迫。正因身處一個日益多元化的現代社會，我們更應學習著接納彼此的個體差異，尊重每個人對於自我身材、容貌的選擇權。
Today’s visual culture has changed remarkably in the past few generations. As definitions of beauty become ever more exacting, the standard of beauty are becoming more and more homogenous.
The face and body were once finite, a unique set of features and mirror of the soul. We were born with it, lived with it, aged with it. Sadly, people simply look less like themselves nowadays. The aesthetics of body are gradually become homogeneous, and it narrows down the society views as beauty. Seems like people being less and less appreciate for the individual differences. And it makes us wonder: “In the plural society we lived in nowadays, is this the value of beauty we try to pursue? ”
