Entourage, Shadow, and Shade Practice

This Ionic column is illustrated using graphite to create shadow and shade in place of line. Three different values create depth within this drawing. I think graphite worked really well in this assignment because shading and highlights allowed the sinuous curves to be illustrated.
These ionic columns are illustrated using a form of hatching called stippling. The spacing of dots creates three different values which creates depth within this drawing. Micron Pens of different sizes were used to fill the objects with value.
These trees are quick versions of entourage that would be used when sketching an exterior scene. Different species of trees are illustrated using the same style of sketching.
Other entourage examples for quick sketching.
These are examples of scales figures in my style of sketching. They are suppose to be quick sketches of humans to provide scale within a sketch.
