Graphene: The Technology of the Future in Today's Soles
with Poh Hui Qing at the National University of Singapore

Throughout 15 weeks of exploration in conjunction with the Center for Advanced 2D Materials.
Prompted with an open ended use of the revolutionary material, Graphene, we began our interest with taking ideas from every sector of life and engaging our resources both of graduate students and tenured professors to test feasibility along with likelihood of these concepts being able to be produced in the
Concentrating on an activity in which we already engage in, walking, we are able to take advantage of the motions a user already utilizes.
A two part sole, the lower to generate a small electrical charge, and the upper to act as a super-capacitor and hold the charge until able to discharge through cordless charging pads into technologies such as cell phones or cameras.

The journey one takes on a long hike or a walk can be concluded at the end of the day when you take your shoes off to relax and call your loved ones so they know you're safe. You can do this with Graphene. Reconnect when you're off the path.
