Fitz Roy silkscreen prints
A personal approach to the beauty of nature.
In my last trip to Patagonia (Argentina) I was amazed by the perfect and beautifull lines of the Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre, on Los Glaciares National Park.

As a tribute to such a magnificent creations of nature, I decided to make two print series of 19.5 x 27 inches, one for each one of them. This is the first project: the Fitz Roy silkscreen prints.

Each print is hand-printed, 5-process print in orange, green, and burlack ink on 200 gsm. white paper. They´re individually pulled by hand, numbered and signed, and will contain unique imperfections. Second run of 50 prints (Initial run of 50 prints sold out).

Text on print lists first three summits:
1952 vía sudeste: Lionel Terray y Guido Magnone. 1965 vía Supercanaleta: Carlos Comesaña y José Luis Fonrouge. 1968 ruta CaliforniAna: Yvon Chouinard, Dick Dorworth, Chris Jones, Lito Tejada Flores y Douglas Tompkins.

And a quote from Jose Luis Fonrouge:
"Bright with ice, snow and rock, such a fascinating universe of peaks tells of eternity and permanence, in contrast with our fleeting journey."
One of many inspiration pictures.
