Rotterdam is a national and international venue for arts and culture. In the city, the number of creator spaces, art initiatives and creative collections grows strongly. At the same time there is not yet a good stage for starting artists. The talents that will become the icons of the future get little stage to prove themselves; To the media, gallery owners and to themselves. The space - also in a literal sense - is missing. The New Current aims to be the new platform for these starting artists.

In April, we will organize a grand exhibition, three week long, in a central location in the inner city of Rotterdam. In three weekends we present a combination of artist talks, performances, live music, guided tours and of course art of talented talent.
