Logo challenge 2 

So I followed the creative prompt suggestion, to use a word cloud. Started to come up with the obvious ideas of cups, droplets, beans etc. the first attempt was to have beans dropping into a cup and making a splash with the beans also being seen as the droplets from the splash. But after a long time drawing a coffee cup I abandoned that idea as too cliched. However the idea of splashes led to ripples. I kept the dropping beans and created the ripples. These were simplified to the point of abstraction, as were the beans. The divide in the beans were placed to repeat the shape of the ripples. 
A couple of colour schemes were put together and a grey version. 
Finally some mock ups were produced and hey presto...
