JKR Juice 2017
My entry to the JKR Juice competition brief, this years brief involved rebranding a hypothetical bamboo clothing company. In response, I created B3. A high quality, high fashion brand whose visual range revolved around the likeness and growing patterns of bamboo using vector imagery and my own illustrations. One of the key aspects of this brand was it's highlighting of the beneficial properties of bamboo during a crisis. It's a fast growing plant that can be used to as both food, building material and can knit soil together preventing mud-slides amongst others! Promoting charitable campaigns was the key aspect to this brand.
The collateral pack sent to JKR including a screen printed shirt featuring the logo, handwritten compliment slip on bamboo paper, an editorial look book, a seed packet containing seeds so customers could grow their own bamboo garden, business cards and an example from the advertising campaign
An accompanying editorial piece that was single sheet bound
An example of how vector imagery can be used more colourfully following Pantone's colour guidance for different ranges, specifically Bamboo Sprouts, the children's range
Part of an advertising range highlighting the company's link to nature and charitable acts
A mockup of a mail out bamboo seed packet to involve customers in the ideals of the company.
Following guidance from Mintel, this company would sell bamboo clothing made in Britain.
One of the range of screen printed tote bags, featuring facts about bamboo to be used in store.
