SOFT RHAPSODY
Soft Rhapsody is a piece of digital illustration inspired by Art Nouveau. It is a nod to the movement’s decorative style and its focus on natural forms, especially that of plants and flowers. Art Nouveau has always been one of my long time interests. The illustration depicts a woman performing the Grand Jeté while flowers change around her as the 4 seasons transition from spring to winter. It alludes to the swiftness of time and the rare recognition of its passing in a predominately oblivious state of mind.
