This fictional card belongs to Arthur C. Clarke's 2001 a Space Odyssey universe. It could be an early commercial postcard to promote the mission of Discovery 1. "In 2001 Nasa begins the first attempt to reach into deep space beyond the rings of Saturn. The crew of Discovery 1. consists of 8 men and a latest generation of H.A.L. 9000 super computer." However, the real mission was a little bit different than the civilians should know...
