The Stage Door Burlesque & Cabaret
This project went through many phases and developments and the end result is perfect for the event! The Stage Door work with Joe Black often and the promotional material for it is always the most artistic and glam. I feel the burlesque and cabaret vibe is there with the golden framing of each act, the 50s style typeface and the sexy red of the velvet curtains. The acts and information for the show are clearly shown leaving plenty of room for the star of the show in the middle. For the background I went to the actual venue and took some pictures that would help me tell the story of each piece I create better. To have a real link and connection between the venue/company and the viewer/reader before they even visit. A lot of back and forth went on during this posters progression which is always helpful to help me get the outcome absolutely perfect for the client.
