DIVIDED SELF
This project was made during my motion portfolio class taught by Hye Sung Park at the School of Visual Arts. The underlying theme of this project is rooted in the conflict between our internal and external world that is unique to each one of us. External conflicts constantly effect our internal thoughts and vice versa. Nobody is alone in this feeling. Splitting time between work and family or school and friends is a battle that is fought everyday. This feeling can become overwhelming but with patience and persistence we are able to overcome this conflict. This piece is meant to tell a visual story that follows the arc of those feelings. I hope everyone can look at this piece through their own lens and find meaning that relates back to their own lives.
