Nespresso
The Sound of Peace
Different scenarios that all end with the sound of peace, and a hand appearing out of nowhere with a cup of coffee.
Someone stealing the protagonist’s spot as he was trying to park.
Moving furniture at home.
Wife and nagging mother-in-law trying to prepare Iftar.
Annoying cinema-goers (someone on their phone, people talking and eating loudly etc)
Screaming and kicking baby on a plane.
A hand appearing out of nowhere with a cup of coffee
The Do-Good Squad:
Begins with a teacher reminding their students that they will all see each other at Iftar, and that in the meantime they should go out into the world and do good deeds, as it is Ramadan. We see our three kids (2 boys and a girl) get together, excited by the idea of doing good, discussing it, and then heading off to their respective homes.
#01 Scenario
One kid drags someone onto a bus, thinking that he was frail and in need of help, when in fact he was resting on a pole so he could remove chewing gum from his shoe.
#02 Scenario
One child reunites a child with their mother in a park, not realising that the child belongs to another woman entirely.
#03 Scenario
The final child mistakes a duo of hipsters for homeless people and places her messy, eaten-out-of sandwich in their laps.
It ends with the kids and their families together, enjoying Iftar and drinking Nespresso.
After the title card, a scene plays in which we see the old man, still on the bus, entirely unsure of where he is. He looks blankly as he passes by a Nespresso billboard.
