Fahrenheit 451 re-covered

FAHRENHEIT 451 RE-COVERED
Entry for The Fox is Black re-covered books contest.

We wanted to go beyond the immediate association of Fahrenheit 451 with fire and destruction of books, and create a graphic linked to the deeper meaning of the book. In the final pages The author cites the figure of the phoenix, the mythical animal that rises from its own ashes. We decided to take the phoenix as a symbol of the entire book as it perfectly represents the story. Fahrenheit 451 in fact is not a pessimistic book, Bradbury suggests that human culture can not be destroyed in the end, and leaves open the ending on the possibility of a rebirth of society.
