Research Methodology: Primary and Secondary
Aim: To study the social, cultural, economic aspects of a craft and analyse its siginificance in the contemporary environment. My research and documentation was based on the folk musical instruments, namely, Ilathalam, Kombu and Bamboo instruments in Thrissur district of Kerala, made using traditional craftsmanship.
Research Methodology: Secondary
Aim: To understand the symbolism behind iconography seen in Tantric art. How simple shapes like the circle, square, spiral, etc hold value and meaning beyond perception.
"Tantra is the bond between the objective and physical world with its inner reality, a spiritual journey as we create our acts into a creative evolution. Its aim is not the discovery of the unknown but the realization of the known."
Research Methodology: Secondary
Aim Feminist artists of the 1980s used art and type to express their ideas and opinions on the status of women in their own manner. The aim was to study their artworks, their own definitions of Feminism and analyse why they did what they did.
Research Methodology: Secondary
Aim To understand in detail how crafts evolved as narratives in India while plotting all stories and myths related to it.
The expression of myth can be called narrative mythology when it takes the form of stories, symbols, and rituals that make a myth tangible. These stories, symbols, and rituals are essentially languages that are heard, seen and performed. Our lives and our existence are governed by these factors that trickled its way centuries ago.
