Exhibit design project focused on the evolution from vinyl to mp3 player.
The advent of digital technology has not only changed the music in all its aspects. Before the music was a valuable asset. Music was meeting, beauty, charm. It was a collection of disks, you knew all the songs on a CD or cassette, the media were kept with care. Now the music has changed. With the mp3 player is the so-called dematerialization there is no more support, no more shelves: everything is virtual. That's why the title bit to beat. Beat means pulsation in music. But now the music is like a bit cold, static and detached.
