Furry Tales is a platform aimed at providing a holistic approach to pet parenting with a strong emphasis on being the voice for the voiceless. It focuses on sharing & providing inspiration, articles, tips, lifestyle hacks & creates a community of like-minded people, who believe in the magic of the bond between a human & animal. They also help run adoption and foster appeals for strays & abandoned pets.
We created an identity which expresses all the values that the brand represents. The Compassion, that human-animal bond comes out beautifully through expressive typography. The Brand Colours gives a sense of warmth, joy, and peace.
The founder, Pradeepa, has always been an avid animal lover. However, she only got the chance to experience it first hand, when she decided to start fostering. She started with, 1 and then 2, and then many more kittens. Three of them became foster fails by melting her heart, and she became theirs. She was able to introduce her own family to joys of having a furry friend in life and soon, her sister & brother in law adopted a stray from Blue Cross.
Thereafter, her parents too ended up getting 2 dogs and they also feed the community strays. It was during this time that Pradeepa realized that being there & doing something for the animals gave her much more joy than her 9 to 5 corporate job. This zeal only became stronger after she lost one of her pets to a freak accident and she wanted to involve herself in the welfare of the animals.
During this journey, she learned everything, right from food to grooming to medical requirements, from pure experience and the constant search for the best consultations available, since she was a first-time pet parent and later, the practice came in handy to help her family to settle in with their pets.
Since she faced & was able to subsequently conquer a lot of issues & emergencies as a pet parent, she wanted to create a community where like-minded people can help each other become better pet parents. And that is how the concept of Furry Tales came into being. The aim of furry Tales is not to just be any other business. The dream is to create a positive impact in the lives of animals & pet parents alike.
