CLIMBING UP THE WALLS
A Visual Publishing inspired by Radiohead's single and the experience of finding the root to our inner selves while listening to it. “Climbing Up the Walls” takes the idiomatic expression for utter unpleasant feelings, such as worry and doubt giving the expression a voice.
Jonny Greenwood relying heavily on strings, but not in a conventional way while Thom accompanies the chilling melodies with equally haunting lyrics about the relentless internal demons people face. The object itself represents the paranoid fear itself, questioning reality and mortality as an ongoing white noise.It is one of the first tracks by the band to be described as scary. In this project the aim was to explore the whole spectrum of feeling anxious and how certain historical events, plastic artists and cinematography lead us there. The bridge between the analog and digital process was the main focus.
